Bed benches

One of my regular customers requested another repurpose. This time it was an old headboard and footboard that they wanted made into benches

Before adding the frames, structural cracks had to be repaired and all of the joints were drilled and doweled. Seat frames were added as well as the front legs that were turned. You can see my supervisor, Chewie, inspecting the progress.

Seat slats were added and all screw holes were filled. Everything was sanded and prepped for paint.

The benches were given multiple coats of exterior paint and they were ready for their new home.
